dc.description	Restaurant “Versalis” Vasario 16-osios st. 35 Kaunas interior project. The aim of this work: to create an interior design of the interwar restaurant “Versalis”, to meet the cultural/spiritual needs of the city residents and guests, to preserve the historical spirit. For Kaunas, the city which is growing and modernizing, the history and its cultural heritage are still very important and this is especially evident in the architecture of Kaunas city. This is one of the most significant parts of the city’s identity. So, what is the current situation of Kaunas city historical architecture and how are the issues of historical heritage preservation addressed? In addition to the many ongoing positive changes in the preservation of architectural heritage, there are many relevant issues to be addressed. One of them - one of the famous interwar objects - the hotel and restaurant “Versalis”, located at Laisvės al. and Vasario 16-osios st. at an intersection, are in critical condition. The vision of the object has been discussed several times in the Kaunas Council of Architecture and Urbanism Experts. In “Versalis”, recognized as a cultural heritage site, it is important to preserve its original function. Unfortunately, this issue has been stuck for a long time. Interior concept "Interwar plot" - the cycle of historical photographs reveals the spirit of the interwar “Versalis”: the people of that time, interior and exterior details, clothing style, menu of that time, advertising in the press and other details. It's like an old movie, in a large interior plane, which allows a modern person to feel in the historic “Versalis”. In the projected space, the real height of a person is close to the historical personality from the photo, it feels like being with them. The interior of the “Versalis” restaurant was created on the basis of collected and thoroughly analyzed information, preserving the surviving interior details and composing photos that preserve memories and broadcast the past. The interior is designed in the style of modern classics. Today, I invite everyone interested in the history of “Versalis” for the discussion and also to return with their thoughts to the interwar bohemian space.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Restorano ,,Versalis“ Vasario 16-osios g. 35 Kaune interjero projektas. Šio darbo tikslas: sukurti tarpukariu veikusio restorano ,,Versalis’’ interjero projektą, miesto gyventojų ir miesto svečių kultūrinio/ dvasinio poreikio tenkinimui, istorinės dvasios išsaugojimui. Šiandien augančiam ir modernėjančiam Kaunui itin svarbi ir miesto istorija, kultūrinis paveldas, kuris ypač ryškiai atsiskleidžia Kauno miesto architektūroje. Tai viena reikšmingiausių miesto identiteto dalių. Taigi, kokia šiandien situacija Kauno miesto istorinės architektūros, kaip sprendžiami istorinio paveldo išsaugojimo klausimai? Šalia daug vykstančių pozityvių pokyčių, išsaugant architektūros paveldo objektus, yra nemažai aktualių spręstinų klausimų. Vienas jų - vienas garsių tarpukario objektų - viešbutis bei restoranas "Versalis", esantis Laisvės al. ir Vasario 16-osios g. sankirtoje, yra kritiškos būklės. Objekto vizija ne kartą svarstyta Kauno architektūros ir urbanistikos ekspertų taryboje. Kultūros paveldo objektu pripažintame "Versalyje" svarbu išsaugoti jo pirminę funkciją. Deja, šis klausimas įstrigo ilgam. Interjero koncepcija „Tarpukario laikmečio siužetas“ – per istorinių fotografijų ciklą atskleidžiama tarpukario „Versalio“ dvasia: to meto žmonės, interjero bei eksterjero detalės, aprangos stilius, to meto meniu, reklama spaudoje ir kitos detalės. Tai tarsi juostinis filmas, didelėje interjero plokštumoje, leidžiantis šiuolaikiniam žmogui pasijusti istoriniame „Versalyje“. Projektuojamoje erdvėje realus žmogaus aukštis artimas istorinei asmenybei iš nuotraukos, tai tarsi buvimas kartu su jais. Restorano „Versalis“ interjeras kurtas remiantis surinkta ir išsamiai išanalizuota informacija, išsaugant išlikusias interjero detalės bei komponuojant prisiminimus saugančias ir mums praeitį transliuojančias nuotraukas. Interjeras kuriamas moderniosios klasikos stilistikoje. Šiandien diskusijai kviečiu kiekvieną, besidomintį „Versalio“ istorija, bei mintimis sugrįžti į tarpukaryje veikusią bohemišką erdvę.	en_US
