dc.description	Relevance of the theme: patients with disabilities may need to be exposed in clinical situations, so oral health professionals need to be aware of the changes in the oral cavity caused by cerebral palsy and be able to provide the necessary assistance to such individuals. The problem of the study – what are the oral health-related behaviors of individuals with cerebral palsy? The object of the study – oral health-related behaviors in individuals with cerebral palsy. The aim of the study – to reveal oral health-related behaviors in individuals with cerebral palsy. Research tasks: theoretically describe the etiology, pathogenesis and its impact on oral health of cerebral palsy, to discuss appropriate oral health-related behaviors in cerebral palsy, and to determine the type of oral health-related behaviors in cerebral palsy by type and class of disease. Research methodology and participants: an analysis of the scientific literature and a semi-structured interview consisting of 15 pre-prepared questions were performed. The study was conducted from February 1 to April 6, 2020, and involved 15 volunteer adults with cerebral palsy. The main results and conclusions of the empirical research: the study found that people with cerebral palsy have little knowledge of the changes in the oral cavity caused by their disease, relying mainly on their experience, and having little recourse to oral specialists for help or recommendations. A small proportion of patients are aware of additional dental care measures that could facilitate their routine, there is no connection with specialists, the opportunity to visit specialists is available, but it is not used. dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: klinikinių situaciju metu gali tekti susidurti su negalią turinčiais pacientais, todėl burnos sveikatos specialistai turi žinoti cerebrinio paralyžiaus sukeliamus pokyčius burnos ertmėje ir gebėti suteikti reikiamą pagalbą tokiems asmenims. Tyrimo problema – kokia yra asmenų, sergančių cerebriniu paralyžiumi, su burnos sveikata susijusi elgsena? Tyrimo objektas – asmenų, sergančių cerebriniu paralyžiumi, su burnos sveikata susijusi elgsena. Tyrimo tikslas – atskleisti asmenų, sergančių cerebriniu paralyžiumi, su burnos sveikata susijusią elgseną. Tyrimo uždaviniai: teoriškai aprašyti cerebrinio paralyžiaus etiologiją, patogenezę ir jo įtaką burnos sveikatai, aptarti tinkamą su burnos sveikata susijusią elgseną sergant cerebriniu paralyžiumi bei nustatyti asmenų, sergančių cerebriniu paralyžiumi, su burnos sveikata susijusią elgseną atsižvelgiant į ligos tipą. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji: atlikta mokslinės literatūros analizė ir pusiau struktūruotas interviu, kurį sudarė 15 iš anksto paruoštų klausimų. Tyrimas vykdytas 2020 metų vasario 1 – balandžio 6 dienomis, apklausoje dalyvavo 15 savanorių pilnamečių asmenų, sergančių cerebriniu paralyžiumi. Pagrindiniai empirinio tyrimo rezultatai ir išvados: tyrimu nustatyta, kad asmenų, sergančių cerebriniu paralyžiumi žinios apie jų ligos sukeltus burnos ertmės pokyčius yra menkos, daugiausiai remiamasi savo patirtimi, mažai kreipiamasi į burnos ertmės specialistus dėl pagalbos ar rekomendacijų. Maža dalis sergančiųjų žino papildomas dantų priežiūros priemones, kurios galėtų palengvinti jų rutiną, nėra ryšio su specialistais, galimybė lankytis pas specialistus yra, tačiau ji neišnaudojama. Asmenys susidūrę su šia liga nėra tinkamai informuoti ir paruošti savo dantų priežiūrai	en_US
