dc.description	Relevance of the topic: The number of children with various behavioral problems in Lithuania is increasing every year. Children with behavioral problems are one of the most challenging groups for professionals to work with. An early diagnosis of behavioural difficulties demonstrated by socially vulnerable children is not currently feasible in Lithuania. Their issues become evident when it is too late in their development and problems are already deeply rooted. Day care centers could be viewed as one of the ways to help children from problematic families. Research problem: what difficulties does the social worker face in providing social services to children with behavioral problems in a childrens day center? Object of research: difficulties experienced by social workers in providing social services to children with behavioral problems in a children's day center. The aim of the research: To determine the difficulties experienced by a social worker in providing social services to children with behavioral problems in a children's day center. Object of the research: 1. To theoretically reveal the concept of problematic behavior; 2. To describe the day to day social services work of day center employees; 3. To reveal the difficulties experienced by the social worker in providing social services to children with behavioral problems in the children's day center. Research methodology and subjects: analysis of scientific literature; questionnaire; statistical analysis. The study involved 30 social workers working in a day center. Results of an empirical research: the study revealed that the vast majority of respondents experience both personal and professional difficulties in providing social services to children with behavioral problems at a children’s day center.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: kasmet Lietuvoje vis daugėja vaikų turinčių įvairių elgesio problemų. Vaikai turintys elgesio problemų yra viena daugiausiai iššūkių specialistams kelianti grupė. Ankstyvajai elgesio problemų diagnostikai sąlygos Lietuvoje nėra užtikrinamos. Vaikams, kuriems yra reikalinga pagalba dažnai būna suteikiama per vėlai, kai vaiko problemos yra giliai įsišaknijusios. Probleminių šeimų vaikams vienas iš galimos pagalbos būdų yra dienos centrai. Tyrimo problema: sunkumai, kuriuos patiria socialinis darbuotojas teikdamas socialines paslaugas elgesio problemų turintiems vaikams vaikų dienos centre. Tyrimo objektas: socialinių darbuotojų patiriami sunkumai teikiant socialines paslaugas elgesio problemų turintiems vaikams vaikų dienos centre. Tyrimo tikslas: nustatyti socialinio darbuotojo patiriamus sunkumus teikiant socialines paslaugas elgesio problemų turintiems vaikams vaikų dienos centre. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Teoriškai atskleisti probleminio elgesio sampratą; 2. Aprašyti socialinio darbuotojo veiklą vaikų dienos centre teikiant socialines paslaugas elgesio problemų turintiems vaikams; 3. Atskleisti socialinio darbuotojo patiriamus sunkumus teikiant socialines paslaugas elgesio problemų turintiems vaikams vaikų dienos centre. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji: mokslinės literatūros analizė; anketinė apklausa; statistinių duomenų analizė. Tyrime dalyvavo 30 socialinių darbuotojų, dirbančių vaikų dienos centre. Empirinio tyrimo rezultatai: tyrimas atskleidė, kad didžioji dauguma respondentų teikdami socialines paslaugas vaikams turintiems elgesio problemų vaikų dienos centre patiria tiek asmeninius, tiek darbinius sunkumus.	en_US
