dc.description	Relevance of the topic: In the scientific literature, various authors define the purpose of children's day care centers and analyze the complex assistance provided by social workers to children and their families. The opinion of social workers about the difficulties they face in providing social services in children's day care centers is less researched. Research question: What are the difficulties for social workers working in the children’s day center? Object of work: difficulties experienced by social workers working in the children’s day center. The aim of the research: To determine the difficulties experienced by social workers while working in the children's day center. Objectives of the research: 1. To define the purpose of the children's day centers. 2. To reveal the activities of the social worker in the children's day center. 3. To identify the difficulties experienced by social workers when working in the children's day center. Research methodology and subjects: were used analyzes of scientific literature sources and statistical survey data, and a quantitative questionnaire in which 38 respondents participated. Results of the empirical research: The study data revealed that absolute majority of respondents consider that they have difficulty working in the children's day center, and associate this with negative experiences. Assessing the opinion of the respondents, the difficulties in working in a children's day center are usually determined by the peculiarities of children's day center visitors, cooperation between institutions in solving the problems of visitors to the children's day center, shortcomings in work organization in children's day center, and respondents' personal experience. One third of the respondents have difficulties in communicating with visitors and their relatives due to the lack of motivation, conflicts between them, and non-communication with family members. Interinstitutional cooperation is hampered by a lack of information on the activities of other institutions and skills in mediation, representation. Difficulties are related to the organization of the work in the children's day center, a third of the respondents are experiencing a lack of financial resources to provide services, intensive work without breaks, and too small premises. Difficulties are associated with a lack of personal experience and insufficient knowledge of working methods with children. The opinion of the respondents was revealed that trainings would help to reduce the difficulties experienced, as well as more frequent supervision and meetings with the staff of other centers.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: Mokslinėje literatūroje įvairūs autoriai apibrėžia vaikų dienos centrų paskirtį, bei analizuoja socialinių darbuotojų teikiamą kompleksinę pagalbą vaikams, jų šeimoms. Mažiau yra tyrinėta socialinių darbuotojų nuomonė apie jų patiriamus sunkumus teikiant socialines paslaugas vaikų dienos centruose. Tyrime keliamas probleminis klausimas: Kokie sunkumai kyla socialiniams darbuotojams, dirbantiems vaikų dienos centre? Tyrimo objektas: socialinių darbuotojų patiriami sunkumai, dirbant vaikų dienos centre Tyrimo tikslas: Nustatyti socialinių darbuotojų patiriamus sunkumus, dirbant vaikų dienos centre. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Apibrėžti vaikų dienos centrų veiklos paskirtį. 2. Atskleisti socialinio darbuotojo veiklą vaikų dienos centre. 3. Identifikuoti socialinių darbuotojų patiriamus sunkumus, dirbant vaikų dienos centre. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji: naudotos mokslinės literatūros šaltinių ir statistinė apklausos duomenų analizės, bei kiekybinė anketinė apklausa, kurioje dalyvavo 38 respondentės. Empirinio tyrimo rezultatai atskleidė, kad respondenčių nuomone absoliuti dauguma patiria sunkumus dirbant vaikų dienos centre, bei sieja tai su neigiamais išgyvenimais. Patiriamus sunkumus dažniausiai lemia lankytojų ypatumai, bendradarbiavimas tarp įstaigų sprendžiant vaikų dienos centro lankytojų problemas, darbo organizavimo vaikų dienos centre trūkumai, bei asmeninė respondenčių patirtis. Trečdaliui respondenčių bendraujant su lankytojais, bei jų artimaisiais sunkumai patiriami dėl lankytojų motyvacijos stokos, tarpusavio konfliktų, bei šeimos narių nebendravimo. Tarpinstituciniame bendradarbiavime sunkumai patiriami dėl informacijos apie kitų institucijų veiklą, bei įgūdžių tarpininkavimo ir atstovavimo srityse stokos. Sunkumai siejami su vaikų dienos centro darbo organizavimu, trečdaliui respondenčių yra patiriami dėl finansinių lėšų paslaugoms teikti stygiaus, intensyvaus darbo be pertraukų, bei per mažų patalpų. Patiriami sunkumai siejami su asmeninės patirties stoka, bei nepakankamu kūrybinių darbo metodų su vaikais žinojimu. Atsiskleidė respondenčių nuomonė jog mažinant patiriamus sunkumus padėtų mokymai, bei reguliariai organizuojamos supervizijos, susitikimai su kitų centrų darbuotojais.	en_US
