dc.description	Relevance of the topic: Increasingly, old and elderly people, even those with relatives who could take care of them, voluntarily choose a social care institution to spend the rest of their time with people like themselves. Therefore, when a social worker works in a care home, it is necessary to ensure an appropriate quality of life for the elderly person in such an institution. Research problem: what kind of mediation activities does the social worker with old and elderly people in care home? The object of the research: mediation activity of a social worker while working with old and elderly poeple in a care home. The aim of the research: to reveal the mediation activities of a social worker while working with old and elderly poeple in a care home. Objectives of the research: 1. To describe the psychosocial problems experienced by the old and elderly people living in care homes. 2. Disclosure of social services provided to the old and elderly people living in care homes. 3. To define the mediation activity of a social worker 4. Identify social worker mediation activities in working with the elderly and the elderly in care homes. Research methodology and subjects: quality inspection. Structured interview. Unlikely, targeted, convenient selection. The study involved 4 social workers working with the elderly and old people in care homes. Results of the empirical study: a qualitative study found that the social workers involved in the study mediation activities in working with the elderly and the elderly living in social nursing home is important and improves the quality of life of clients. By mediating among others institutions and social workers involved in the study of the elderly and the elderly seek to help the client and the institutions to talk, find common compromises and solve problems. Through mediation activities between the elderly and the elderly and their relatives ensures more successful communication and communication, thus reducing the client’s sense of loneliness. Through mediation between the elderly and the elderly living in a social care home seeks to help them establish new interpersonal relationships, discover common interests, soul mates and to participate more actively in various activities.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas : Vis dažniau pagyvenę ir seni žmonės, netgi ir turintys artimųjų, kurie galėtų jais rūpintis, savanoriškai pasirenka socialinės globos įstaigą, norėdami praleisti likusį jiems laiką su panašiais į save. Todėl, socialiniam darbuotojui dirbant globos namuose būtina užtikrinti pagyvenusiam žmogui tokioje įstaigoje atitinkamą gyvenimo kokybę. Tyrimo problema : kokią tarpininkavimo veiklą vykdo socialinis darbuotojas dirbdamas su pagyvenusiais ir senais žmonėmis globos namuose? Tyrimo objektas : socialinio darbuotojo tarpininkavimo veikla dirbant su pagyvenusiais ir senais žmonėmis globos namuose. Tyrimo tikslas : atskleisti socialinio darbuotojo tarpininkavimo veiklą dirbant su pagyvenusiais ir senais žmonėmis globos namuose. Tyrimo uždaviniai : 1. Aprašyti pagyvenusių ir senų žmonių gyvenančių globos namuose patiriamas psichosocialines problemas. 2. Atskleisti socialines paslaugas teikiamas pagyvenusiems ir seniems žmonėms, gyvenantiems globos namuose. 3. Apibrėžti socialinio darbuotojo tarpininkavimo veiklą. 4. Nustatyti socialinio darbuotojo tarpininkavimo veiklą dirbant su pagyvenusiais ir senais žmonėmis globos namuose. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji : kokybinis tyrimas. Struktūruotas interviu. Netikimybinė, tikslinė, patogioji atranka. Tyrime dalyvavo 4 socialiniai darbuotojai dirbantys su pagyvenusiais ir senais žmonėmis globos namuose. Empirinio tyrimo rezultatai : Atliktu kokybiniu tyrimu nustatyta, kad tyrime dalyvavusių socialinių darbuotojų tarpininkavimo veikla dirbant su pagyvenusiais ir senais žmonėmis gyvenančiais socialinės globos namuose yra svarbi bei gerinanti klientų gyvenimo kokybę. Tarpininkaudami tarp kitų institucijų ir pagyvenusių ir senų žmonių tyrime dalyvavę socialiniai darbuotojai siekia padėti klientui ir institucijoms susikalbėti, rasti bendrus kompromisus ir išspręsti kilusias problemas. Vykdydami tarpininkavimo veiklą tarp pagyvenusių ir senų žmonių ir jų artimųjų užtikrina sėkmingesnį ryšių palaikymą ir bendravimą, taip mažinamas kliento vienišumo jausmas. Tarpininkaudami tarp pagyvenusių ir senų žmonių gyvenančių socialinės globos namuose siekia padėti jiems užmegzti naujus tarpasmeninius santykius, atrasti bendrus interesus, aktyviau dalyvauti įvairiose veiklose.	en_US
