dc.description	The relevance of the topic: the final master thesis describes the peculiarities of the process of temporary child care or establishment of custody performed by the social workers. During the process of the temporary child care, the parental rights are still under the control. Temporary custody for the child is obligated in the case when there is no possibility to apply temporary child care or the parents still have not changed their behavior during the temporary custody, what could harm the child. The social workers are working in various institutions that provide comprehensive support for the family. The research problem: what are the peculiarities concerning the social workers' activities during the process of temporary child care or custody? The object of the research: the peculiarities of the of social workers’ activity during the process of establishing temporary child care or custody. The aim of the research: to disclose the social workers’ peculiarities of the activities during the process of determining child's temporary care or custody. The objectives of the research: 1. To make a review concerning the legal acts regulating parental authority and its temporary restriction, as well as analyse the reasons for the before mentioned action; 2. To define the procedures regarding the establishment of temporary care or custody; 3. To describe the social workers’ peculiarities of the activities during the process of determining child's temporary care or custody. Research methodology and the subjects under the research: the analysis of scientific literature and legal acts is applied to perform the research. Qualitative research method, semi-structured interview. The social workers working with parents or families with children in temporary care or custody were analysed. The results of empirical research: after the empirical research was performed concerning the peculiarities of social worker's activity during the process of establishing temporary child care or custody, it was revealed that the social workers are working in various institutions providing various complex family services. The most effective tools within the family support process the social workers defined as following: teamwork, training of parenting skills, psychological counseling and frequent parent and child meetings. The social workers invite parents for the discussions and consultations, also conducting parenting skills training and refer the clients to other professionals.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: darbe atskleidžiami socialių darbuotojų veiklos ypatumai vaiko laikinosios priežiūros ar globos nustatymo procese. Vaiko laikinosios priežiūros metu yra išlaikomos prigimtinės tėvų teisės. Laikinoji globa vaikui nustatoma tuomet, kai nėra galimybės taikyti laikinąją priežiūra arba tėvai vaiko laikinosios priežiūros metu nepakeitė savo elgesio, galinčio pakenkti vaikui. Socialiniai darbuotojai dirba įvairiose įstaigose, teikiančiose kompleksine pagalbą šeimai. Tyrimo problema: kokie yra socialinių darbuotojų veiklos ypatumai vaiko laikinosios priežiūros ar globos nustatymo procese? Tyrimo objektas: socialinių darbuotojų veiklos ypatumai, vaiko laikinosios priežiūros ar globos nustatymo procese. Tyrimo tikslas: atskleisti socialinių darbuotojų veiklos ypatumus, vaiko laikinosios priežiūros ar globos nustatymo procese. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Apžvelgti teisinius aktus reglamentuojančius tėvų valdžią ir laikiną jos apribojimą bei atskleisti tai lemiančias priežastis; 2. Apibrėžti laikinosios priežiūros ar globos vaikui nustatymo tvarką; 3. Apibūdinti, socialinių darbuotojų veiklos ypatumus, vaiko laikinosios priežiūros ar globos nustatymo procese. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji: tyrimui atlikti naudojama mokslinės literatūros bei teisinių aktų analizė. Kokybinio tyrimo metodas, pusiau struktūruotas interviu. Tiriamieji socialiniai darbuotojai dirbantys su tėvais ar šeimomis, kurių vaikams nustatyta laikinoji priežiūra arba globa. Empirinio tyrimo rezultatai: atlikus empirinį tyrimą apie socialinio darbuotojo veiklos ypatumus vaiko laikinosios priežiūros ar globos nustatymo procese, buvo atskleista, kad socialiniai darbuotojai dirba įvairiose įstaigose, teikiančiose šeimai kompleksines paslaugas. Kaip veiksmingiausias priemones, pagalbos šeimai procese, socialiniai darbuotojai įvardijo: komandinį darbą, tėvystės įgūdžių mokymus, psichologo konsultacijas ir dažnus tėvų ir vaikų susitikimus. Socialiniai darbuotojai kviečiasi tėvus pokalbiams ir konsultacijomis, veda tėvystės įgūdžių mokymus, nukreipia klientus pas kitus specialistus.	en_US
