dc.description	Revalence of the topic: As the emigration of young people increases, the elderly suffer. There is no one to take care of the aging parents, which makes the nursing home full. Older people living in rural areas often find it difficult to get the facilities they need, to buy food, and as they age, it becomes difficult to take care of themselves and there are no relatives who can provide the necessary help. For this reason, it is important to find out the need for social services for the elderly and old people living in rural areas in particular. This would help to find out what social services these people need the most and it would be possible to provide the necessary services in a more targeted way. Research problem: what is the need of social services for old and elderly people in rural areas. Object of research: the need of social services for old and elderly people in rural areas. The aim of the study: to reveal the need of social services for old and elderly people in rural areas. Objectives of the research: 1. To describe the psychosocial features of the elderly and the elderly. 2. To single out social services provided in rural areas. 3. To identify the need for social services in rural areas. Research methodology: quantitative research, 30 respondents were interviewed. Because the study was conducted during a pandemic, and the elderly and old people were at risk, the questionnaire was conducted by telephone. The subjects were 65-90 year olds living in rural areas. Results of the empirical study: After the study, we found that the need for social services for the elderly and elderly living in rural areas is high. They need transport organization and execution of various orders the most. They also need home help and catering services. The survey found that respondents spend most of their time at home working on the farm, doing housework, handicrafts or watching TV.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Temos aktualumas: Didėjant jaunų žmonių emigracijai kenčia senyvo amžiaus žmonės. Nebėra kam pasirūpinti senstančiais tėvais, dėl to pilnėja senelių globos namai. Vyresnio amžiaus žmonėms gyvenantiems kaimo vietovėse dažnai būna sunku pasiekti jiems reikiamas įstaigas, įsigyti maisto produktų, tai pat senstant tampa sunku pasirūpinti pačiam savimi ir nėra artimųjų kurie galėtų suteikti reikiamą pagalbą. Dėl to yra svarbu išsiaiškinti socialinių paslaugų poreikį seniems ir pagyvenusiems žmonėms gyvenantiems būtent kaimo vietovėse. Tai padėtu sužinoti kokių socialinių paslaugų šiems žmonėms reikia labiausiai ir būtų galima tikslingiau reikiamas paslaugas suteikti. Tyrimo problema: koks yra socialinių paslaugų poreikis seniems ir pagyvenusiems žmonėms kaimo vietovėse? Tyrimo objektas: socialinių paslaugų poreikis seniems ir pagyvenusiems žmonėms kaimo vietovėse. Tyrimo tikslas: atskleisti socialinių paslaugų poreikį seniems ir pagyvenusiems žmonėms kaimo vietovėse. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Aprašyti senų ir pagyvenusių žmonių psichosocialinius ypatumus. 2. Išskirti kaimo vietovėse teikiamas socialines paslaugas seniems ir pagyvenusiems žmonėms. 3. Nustatyti socialinių paslaugų poreikį seniems ir pagyvenusiems žmonėms gyvenantiems kaimo vietovėse. Tyrimo metodika ir tiriamieji: kiekybinis tyrimas, apklausta 30 respondentų. Anketinė apklausa buvo atliekama telefonu. Tiriamieji buvo 65-90 metų asmenys gyvenantys kaimo vietovėse. Empirinio tyrimo rezultatai: Atlikus tyrimą išsiaiškinome, kad socialinių paslaugų poreikis kaimo vietovėse gyvenantiems seniems ir pagyvenusiems asmenims yra didelis. Labiausiai jiems yra reikalingos transporto organizavimo ir įvairių pavedimų vykdymo paslaugos. Taip pat jiems reikalingos pagalbos į namus ir maitinimo organizavimo paslaugos. Atliekant apklausą buvo išsiaiškinta, kad respondentai didžiąją savo laiko dalį praleidžia namuose dirbdami ūkio darbus, užsiimdami namų ruoša, rankdarbiais arba žiūrėdami televiziją.	en_US
