Viktorija Repšaitė, Kaunas College, Department of Rehabilitation, Faculty of Medicine. Aim To evaluate the quality of life of the people with Parkinson's desease. Objectives 1. To evaluate the quality of life of the people with Parkinson's desease in accordance with sex. 2. To evaluate the quality of life of the people with Parkinson's desease in accordance with the duration of the disease. 3. To evaluate the quality of life of the people with Parkinson's desease in accordance with the family status. 4. To evaluate the quality of life of the people with Parkinson's desease in accordance with the education. Methodologhy The study was conducted at the Lithuanian Parkinson Desease Society in Kaunas sector. The data conducted for the analysis consists of the Parkinson Desease Questionnaire (PDQ-39) and a survey to collect demographic indicators. Both were used once. The data analysis was performed on the "Microsoft Office Excel 2013'' on the standard software package. Conclusions 1. The quality of life of women with Parkinson's disease values worse than life of men in everyday life. For both, men and women, every day life situations were evaluated with the lowest score. 2. The quality of life of people who have Parkinson desease for over 10 years is worse than those who have it for a shorter period of time. For those who have Parkinson for more than 10 years the the worst sphere of life is daily activities while for the others it is physical discomfort. 3. Widows/-ers and divorced people have the worst of the quality of life, while single and married people have the best quality of life. 4. People with secondary or higher education have the poorest quality of life while people with post-secondary education have the best quality of life. en
dc.description.abstract Darbe supažindinama su Parkinsono liga ir šia liga sergančių asmenų gyvenimo kokybe. Tyrimo tikslas – įvertinti asmenų, sergančių Parkinsono liga, gyvenimo kokybę. Tyrimui atlikti naudojamas PDQ – 39 klausimynas ir anketa - demografiniams rodikliams surinkti. Pateikiami tyrimo metu gauti rezultatai ir jų analizė. Pateikiamos išvados ir siūlomos rekomendacijos. en_US
