dc.description	Relevance of the study: The increasing number of bone fractures of the lower limbs both globally and in Lithuania calls attention to problems that patients encounter during the post-operative period, and to identify the nursing needs during the post-operative period that arise from them. Problem of the study: What are the nursing needs of the patients who suffered bone fractures of the lower limbs during the post-operative period? Object of the study: The nursing needs of the patients who suffered bone fractures of the lower limbs during the post-operative period. Purpose of the study: to assess the nursing needs of the patients who suffered bone fractures of the lower limbs during the post-operative period. Tasks of the study: 1) to describe the reasons for and consequences of bone fractures of the lower limbs; 2) to reveal problems that patients encounter during the post-operative period after the surgical operations of bone fractures of lower limbs; 3) to identify the main nursing needs of the patients who suffered bone fractures of the lower limbs during. Method of the study: The study has been carried out in X hospital of Kaunas city, in Orthopedics and Traumatology Departments. The following theoretical and empirical study methods are used in the thesis to achieve the purpose posed and to implement the tasks provided for: analysis of scientific literature, survey in writing (semi-structured), a descriptive statistical analysis of data. 80 respondents have been surveyed during the study, 55.0% of them were women (n=44), and men 45.0% (n=36) who have undergone surgical operation of bone fractures of the lower limbs. Results of the study: the data obtained showed that during the early post-operative period the patients suffer strong pain, this was noted by 57.5% (n=46) of the respondents, a large percentage of the patients who participated in the study suffer post-operative defecation and urination problems, breathing difficulties, sleep disorders. This is why it is necessary to continuously monitor the patients who have undergone surgical operations in order for the nursing problems to be identified and for the nursing actions to be provided for in a timely manner.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Tyrimo aktualumas: Apatinių galūnių kaulų lūžių didėjimas pasaulyje ir Lietuvoje skatina atkreipti dėmesį į pacientų patiriamas problemas pooperaciniu laikotarpiu bei nustatyti iš jų kylančius slaugos poreikius po operacijos. Tyrimo problema: Kokie yra pacientų, patyrusių apatinių galūnių kaulų lūžius, slaugos poreikiai pooperaciniu laikotarpiu? Tyrimo objektas: Pacientų, patyrusių apatinių galūnių kaulų lūžius, slaugos poreikiai pooperaciniu laikotarpiu. Tyrimo tikslas – įvertinti pacientų, patyrusių apatinių galūnių kaulų lūžius, slaugos poreikius pooperaciniu laikotarpiu. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1) Aprašyti apatinių galūnių kaulų lūžių priežastis ir galimos pasekmės; 2) Atskleisti problemas, iškylančias pacientams pooperaciniu laikotarpiu po apatinių galūnių kaulų lūžių operacijų; 3) Nustatyti apatinių galūnių lūžius patyrusių pacientų pagrindinius slaugos poreikius. Tyrimo metodas: Tyrimas atliktas Kauno miesto X ligoninėje ortopėdijos ir traumatologijos skyriuose. Darbe iškeltam tikslui pasiekti ir numatytiems uždaviniams įgyvendinti naudojami šie teoriniai ir empiriniai tyrimo metodai: mokslinės literatūros analizė, apklausa raštu (pusiau struktūruota), aprašomoji statistinė duomenų analizė. Slaugos poreikių ligoniams po apatinių galūnių kaulų lūžių operacijos tyrimui taikomas kiekybinis tyrimo metodas – anoniminė apklausa. Apklausta 80 respondentų iš jų moterys 55,0 % (n=44), bei vyrai 45,0 % (n=36), kuriems buvo atlikta apatinių galūnių kaulų lūžių operacija. Tyrimo rezultatai: Gauti duomenys parodė, kad pacientus ankstyvajame pooperaciniame periode vargina stiprus skausmas, tai pažymėjo 57,5 % , (n=46) apklaustųjų, didelę dalį tiriamųjų vargina pooperacinės tuštinimosi problemos, kvėpavimo problemos, miego sutrikimai. Taigi, pooperaciniame laikotarpyje būtina nuolat atidžiai stebėti išoperuotus pacientus tam, kad būtų laiku nustatytos slaugos problemos ir numatyti slaugos veiksmai.	en_US
