dc.description	Relevance of work. Hippocrates preached under the oath: “What I will see or hear when treating a patient in other life situations, and that can never be told to outsiders, I will not be publicized or discussed, as not to cause shame to my patients.” (Mokslo ir enciklopedijų leidybos centras, 2019). This medical rule is currently included in nurses' codes of ethics, laws and job descriptions. Confidentiality - Non-public, sensitive information about a patient's and he’s medical condition is known only for the patient, for the treating healer and the nurse. According to Mozūraitis (2011), securing the patients' confidential data is one of the most important days routine, especially in the work of a doctor or nurse. (Mozūraitis, 2011). Investigation problem: What is the opinion of nursing students and nurses regarding the principle of confidentiality in the personal health care institution? Research object: the opinions of nursing students and nurses on the principle of confidentiality in a personal health care facility. The aim of the research: To determine the views of nursing students and nurses regarding confidentiality within the personal health care in the facility. Research tasks: define the principle of confidentiality, analyze the reasons for non-compliance, analyse potential consequences of non-compliance, to find out the opinion of the nurses regarding the principle of observance, to analyze the views of nursing students regarding observance. Investigations of methodology: the analysis of scientific sources and the aim to disclose the principle of confidentiality, the reasons for its non-compliance and the possible consequences for it. Survey form for data processing and analysis of results. The aim is to evaluate in practice: the views of nurses and nursing students regarding compliance to the principle of confidentiality. A set of questions consisting of 20 questions was prepared for the research. The obtained data is presented graphically - in diagrams. Excel was used to create the charts. Conclusions: half of the nurses stated that they do not remember being provided with the information on how to properly protect the patient's data when recruiting. One third of the nurses were made aware and one fifth of the nurses were not made aware of the protection of confidential patient information. Half of the students do not remember or not even were given information on how to correctly secure the patient's confidential information or when they started their practice. One third of the students were trained and one fifth were not aware of personal data protection.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Darbo aktualumas - Hipokratas skelbė: “To, ką pamatysiu ar išgirsiu gydydamas pacientą ir kitais gyvenimo atvejais, ir to, ko niekada negalima skelbti pašaliniams asmenims, aš neviešinsiu ir apie tai nekalbėsiu, kad neužkraučiau gėdos savo pacientui.” (Mokslo ir enciklopedijų leidybos centras, 2019). Ši pamatinė medikų taisyklė šiuo metu įtraukta ir į slaugytojų darbo etikos kodeksus, įstatymus bei pareigybines nuostatas. Konfidencialumas – viešai neskelbtina, slapta informacija apie paciento sveikatos būklę, žinoma tik pacientui, gydančiam gydytojui ir slaugytojui. Pasak Mozūraičio (2011) paciento konfidencialių duomenų užtikrinimas – viena reikšmingiausių problemų šiandieną, ypatingai gydytojo ar slaugytojo darbinėje veikloje (Mozūraitis, 2011). Tyrimo problema: kokia slaugos studentų ir slaugytojų nuomonė apie konfidencialumo principo laikymąsi asmens sveikatos priežiūros įstaigoje? Tyrimo objektas: slaugos studentų ir slaugytojų nuomonė apie konfidencialumo principo laikymąsi asmens sveikatos priežiūros įstaigoje. Tyrimo tikslas: nustatyti slaugos studentų ir slaugytojų nuomonę apie konfidencialumą asmens sveikatos priežiūros įstaigoje. Tyrimo uždaviniai: apibrėžti konfidencialumo principą, nustatyti konfidencialumo nesilaikymo priežastis, nustatyti galimas konfidencialumo nesilaikymo pasekmes, atsleisti slaugytojų nuomonę apie konfidencialumo principo laikymąsi, atskleisti slaugos studentų nuomonę apie konfidencialumo principo laikymąsi. Tyrimo metodika: Mokslinių šaltinių analizė. Siekiama atskleisti konfidencialumo principą, jo nesilaikymo priežastis bei galimas pasekmes.Anketinės apklausos, Kauno Kolegijos 2-ojo, 3-ojo ir 4-ojo kursų slaugos studentams bei X ligoninės, Y ir Z skyrių slaugytojams. Gautų duomenų apdorojimas bei rezultatų analizė. Siekiama praktiškai įvertinti: slaugytojų ir slaugos studentų nuomonę apie konfidencialumo principo laikymąsi. Tyrimui parengtas klausimynas, kuriame pateikta 20 klausimų. Gauti duomenys pateikiami grafiniu būdu – diagramomis. Diagramoms sudaryti naudota programa „Excel“.  Tyrimo rezultatai ir išvados: pusė slaugytojų neprisimena ar įsidarbinant buvo suteikta informacija, kaip apsaugoti paciento duomenis. Trečdalis slaugytojų buvo, o penktadalis slaugytojų nebuvo supažindinti su konfidencialios informacijos apsauga. Pusė studentų neprisimena ar pradėjus atlikti praktiką buvo suteikta informacija, kaip užtikrinti paciento konfidencialią informaciją. Trečdalis studentų buvo, o penktadalis studentų nebuvo supažindinti su asmens duomenų apsauga.	en_US
