dc.description	Dry skin type is one of the most common skin types. The skin tends to dry out because of various internal and external circumstances. Dry skin condition is related to impaired skin barrier function and increased dehydration. For ages, people apply oils and fat on their skins. To resolve the problem of dryness, compound chemical mixtures are used. They increase the level of hydration in the epidermis, soften the skin and improve its elasticity. For this purpose, emollients which help to restore the integrity of the intercellular lipid structure and maintain the skin moisture are used. Purpose of this research: to reveal the opinion of women on the effects of emollients to solve dry skin problems. Research task: 1. Define the causes of dry skin conditions and their symptoms. 2. Explain the ingredients of the emollients and their effects on dry skin. 3. Evaluate women's opinion on the effect of emollients on dry skin. Description of this research and methodology: Analysis of scientific and professional literature, quantitative research in the form of questionnaire were conducted. The survey was conducted on the internet where the respondents had to choose one of the presented options. 150 respondents over the age of 18 were questioned. Results and conclusion: The results of the quantitative study show that the majority of the surveyed women who use emollients to solve dry skin problems are between 20 and 24 years of age. The results of the study showed that half of women with secondary education did not know what emollients are. Most of the respondents choose cream type emollients because they are simple to use, easy to apply and quickly absorbed into the skin. As the reported by the women, emollients help to solve the problems caused by dry skin. According to the respondents, emollients reduce itching and scaling, restore moisture balance, boost skin’s elasticity and make it firmer and softer.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Sausos odos tipas yra vienas iš labiausiai paplitusių tipų. Dėl įvairių išorinių ir vidinių priežasčių oda sausėja. Sausa oda yra susijusi su pablogėjusia odos barjerine funkcija ir padidėjusiu vandens netekimu. Jau nuo senų laikų žmonės odą mėgdavo tepti aliejais ir riebalais. Odos sausumo problemai spręsti naudojami sudėtiniai cheminių medžiagų mišiniai, kurie padidina vandens kiekį epidermyje, suminkština odą ir gerina jos elastingumą. Šiam tikslui yra naudojami emolientai, kurie padeda atkurti tarpląstelinių lipidų struktūros vientisumą ir išlaikyti odos drėgmę. Tyrimo tikslas: atskleisti moterų nuomonę apie emolientų poveikį sausos odos problemoms spręsti. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Apibrėžti sausos odos atsiradimo priežastis ir jų sukeliamus požymius. 2. Atskleisti emolientų sudedamąsias dalis ir jų poveikį sausos odos problemoms spręsti. 3. Įvertinti moterų nuomonę apie emolientų poveikį sausos odos problemoms spręsti. Darbo apibūdinimas ir metodika: Atlikta mokslinės ir profesinės literatūros analizė bei kiekybinis tyrimas – anketinė apklausa. Tyrimas buvo atliekamas internete respondentui pažymint pateiktus variantus. Buvo apklausta ne jaunesnės nei 18 metų amžiaus 150 respondenčių. Rezultatai ir išvados: Kiekybinio tyrimo rezultatai rodo, kad didžioji dalis apklaustųjų yra 20 – 24 metų amžiaus moterys, kurios naudoja emolientus sausos odos problemoms spręsti. Tyrimo rezultatai parodė, jog pusė vidurinio išsilavinimo moterų nežinojo, kas yra emolientai. Dauguma apklaustųjų renkasi kremo tipo emolientus, nes jie patogūs naudoti, lengvai tepasi ir greitai įsigeria į odą. Moterų nuomone emolientai padeda išspręsti sausos odos sukeliamas problemas. Tiriamosios teigia, kad emolientai mažina niežėjimą bei pleiskanojimą, atstato drėgmės balansą ir juos naudojant oda tapo elastingesnė, stangresnė, švelnesnė ir minkštesnė	en_US
