| dc.description | The purpose of the research: to reveal the patients individual oral hygiene features during orthodontic treatment. Study objectives: 1. In theory, based on the individual and professional oral hygiene. 2. Discuss the individual oral hygiene instruments for patients wearing brace apparatus. 3. Disclosure of the patients individual oral hygiene features during orthodontic treatment. Study of quantitative test method has been selected in a questionnaire-based survey and carried out scientific-literary analysis, in order to expose the patients individual oral hygiene features during orthodontic treatment. According to the respondents, 116-in summary it can be said that the majority of patients (77,6%) brushing tooth 2 times per day. It is obvious that the patient wearing brace apparatus for individual dental hygiene use not only toothbrush and paste. A single tooth brush use (17%) respondents, interdental floss (22,2%) interdental brushes a little bit less (12,8%), tongue cleaner (5%) and oral irrigator (3,7%). The patients participated in the survey 39,7 % tagged that sometimes their gums bleed, it can be concluded that their oral care is not done properly. Patients that wearing brace should take into account their recommendations, in order to prevent complications and orthodontic treatment would be effective. | en_US |
