dc.description	Description of the work: The theoretical and analytical parts of the written work present information about the types of events in the hotel, the catering during the events, the equipment needed for them and the stages of organizing events at the hotel. This topic is worth to explore, because the organization of events in the hotel provides the opportunity to earn extra income, enhance the brand notoriety by organizing important and international events and increase room occupancy in the accommodation facility. The main problem: How to stay competitive on the market and attract customers to organize events in ,,Europa Royale Kaunas” hotel? The aim: Analyze aspects of event organization in 4 stars ,,Europa Royale Kaunas” hotel. The objectives: 1. Analyze the organization of events from the theoretical aspect of the hotel; 2. Dispense an analysis of event organization in 4 stars ,,Europa Royale Kaunas” hotel; 3. Dispense a assay of staff view about event organization in ,,Europa Royale Kaunas” hotel; 4. Present suggestions for improvement of event organization in ,,Europa Royale Kaunas” hotel. Methods of work: information and scientific sources, interview. The structure: Theoretical part present hotel and event concepts, types, event clients, catering aspects, and hotel event stages. Hotel ,,Europa Royale Kaunas” analysis present information on the event's clients, the catering and stages of the event organization. In the practical part of the work qualitative research, its methodology, the obtained results and conclusions of the research. The third part presents suggestions for the improvement of event organization in,,Europa Royale Kaunas” hotel. The results: Event organizing in ,,Europa Royale Kaunas” hotel is a very important aspect, which in the season and off-season determines the amount of received income, contributes to the hotel's reputation and customers loyalty, and encourages to stay competitive. ,,Europa Royale Kaunas” hotel could offer more private events, daily delegate rate, suggest new 24 hours rate and pursue cross-selling and out-selling	en
dc.description.abstract	Ši tema yra aktuali, nes renginių organizavimas viešbučiams suteikia galimybę užsidirbti papildomų pajamų. Anot Gilion Institute of Higher Education (2018), bendrovės konferencija, paroda, produkto pristatymas, sporto renginys, vestuvės – visa tai yra galimybių pavyzdžiai, kurių dėka viešbutis didina savo pelną. Įvairūs sektoriai vis daugiau dėmesio skiria klientų aptarnavimui ir VIP svetingumui, tokiu būdu didinant klientų pasitenkinimą bei apgyvendinimo įstaigos pajamas ir pelningumą. Renginių organizavimas viešbutyje yra ne tik svarbus aspektas pajamų atžvilgiu, bet organizuojant didelius ir svarbius tarptautinius renginius viešbutyje, suteikiama galimybė padidinti prekinį žinomumą. Anot Barreda, Zubieta, Chen, Casilha, ir Kageyama, (2017), renginiai suteikia priimančiajai šaliai galimybę padidinti prekinį ženklą šalies ar net tarptautiniu mastu, leidžiant paskirties vietai stiprinti informuotumą ir teigiamą įvaizdį skirtingose rinkose. Taipogi organizuojant teminius renginius, pavyzdžiui, sporto, galima padidinti viešbučio kambarių užimtumą.
