dc.description	Tourism is becoming more and more relevant to every human life, it should be emphasized that tourism is increasingly stimulating investment, medium and small business development. Active tourism development in the region of Lithuania Minor would create new jobs and encourage people to stay in hometown. The development of active tourism would improve the economy of the country. The aim of the bachelor thesis: to analyze active tourism services in the region of Lithuania Minor and to provide possible ways of development. Tasks of the Bachelor thesis: 1. Define the specifics of active tourism in the common tourism system; 2. To analyze the possibilities of active tourism development in Lithuania Minor; 3. Submit proposals for active tourism development in Lithuania Minor. Structure of the Bachelor thesis: In the first part of the professional bachelor the scientific literature was analyzed, the concept of active tourism was defined. Many authors define different ways of active tourism, but all the definitions are combined by the same feature - the use of the physical strength of the tourist. Active tourism has links with ecological, extreme, cognitive, sports and cultural tourism. In the second part of the professional bachelor there was a qualitative research - an interview, which showed that not all active tourism services are provided qualitatively, the supply of services is low and infrastructure is not suitable. Lithuania minor lacks services such as adventure and amusement parks, canoeing or boating, bicycle tours, infrastructure such as recreational areas, beaches with marinas, bicycle and pedestrian paths, information stands, camping sites, human resources. In the third part of the professional bachelor there were presented proposals for active tourism development in Lithuania Minor. It was recommended to pay great attention to sponsorship, improvement of stands and infrastructure. It is also proposed to install the Parkour adventure park, to create bicycle tours, to turn off the abandoned buildings into active tourism equipment rental points.	en
dc.description.abstract	Turizmas tampa vis populiaresnis pasaulyje ir Lietuvoje. Turizmo plėtra skatina verslo ir šalies infrastruktūros vystymąsį, kuria naujas darbo vietas ir taip prisideda prie šalies ekonomikos augimo. Pagal Nacionalinę turizmo plėtros 2010-2013 metų programą, „Lietuvos turizmo galimybės yra palankios kultūrinio, sveikatos, aktyvaus, dalykinio (konferencijų) turizmo produktams kurti. Tokie turizmo produktai yra patraukliausi tiek vietiniams, tiek užsienio turistams ne tik Lietuvoje, bet ir Europos rinkoje. Todėl šių produktų plėtojimo perspektyvos turi būti labiau siejamos su atskirų rinkų paklausos ypatumais, t. y. turistų poreikiais ir galimybėmis, taip pat kur kas geriau panaudojant turimas paslaugas ir išteklius”. Vienas iš Aktyvusis turizmas yra populiari laisvalaikio praleidimo forma Lietuvoje, ypatingai tai galime matyti didžiausiuose Lietuvos miestuose Vilniuje, Klaipėdoje ir Kaune. Mažesniuose miestuose, aktyvaus turizmo plėtra žmonėms sukurtų naujas darbo vietas, gyvenimą mažesniame mieste darytų kokybiškesnį. Mažosios Lietuvos regione yra siūlomos įvairios turizmo paslaugos, tokios kaip, teminės ir edukacinės ekskursijos. Tačiau didelį dėmesį reikia kreipti ir į aktyvųjį turizmą, kuris tampa vis populiaresnis pasaulyje.	en_US
