dc.description	Rights of the Suspect and the Accused, and Their Assurance in Criminal Proceedings. Rita Pociūtė. Professional BA thesis. Supervisor: Lecturer Haroldas Juška. Kauno Kolegija/ University of Applied Sciences, Faculty of Management and Economics, Department of Law. Description - by analyzing and comparing the Lithuanian Supreme Court and European Court of Human Rights it was found main and exceptional rights of the suspect and the accused. The literature research also revealed that rights of the suspect and the accused can be violated. The novelty of this research is accent by the law, legislation and scientific literature. The aim of Rights of the Suspect and the Accused, and Their Assurance in Criminal Proceedings – to analize rights of the suspect and the accused and to determine violation of this rights. The main problem of Rights of the Suspect and the Accused, and Their Assurance in Criminal Proceedings is about to improperly clarified rights of the suspect and accused, as well as various legislative loopholes, these individuals can not achieve an objective and fair trial. Objectives of the BA is the rights of the suspect and the accused and their assurance Methods of the BA– evaluation, analysis and reference methods of scientific literature, documents, laws and criminal proceedings. The structure – research composed of 4 parts. The first part of the research is about the concept and status of the suspect and of accused. The main elements are report of suspicious activity and accusative case. Second part analyzes main wrights of the suspect and accused. Indicate legal protection for these rights in the criminal procedure. Third part – others wrights of the accused. This part describes exceptional wrights which has the accused. Final part – others wrights of the suspect. Final part is about exceptional wrights of the suspect in the criminal procedure. The results/conclusions - after analyzing the laws and based on the practice of the Supreme Court of Lithuania and the European Court of Human Rights, the main and exclusive rights of the suspect and the accused have been clarified and defined. Investigate cases of 25 violations of various rights of suspected or accused persons in criminal proceedings. Taking into account the violations of these rights, submitted offers. Suggestions and recommendations - very important is to enlighten society. Necessary is to have competent officers who are able to clarify the wrights for the suspect and the accused. Useful is to make seminars and courses for the officers. The work consists of 45 pages, 42 references and sources of information.	en
dc.description.abstract	Lietuvos Respublikos baudžiamojo proceso kodekse (toliau – BPK ) 1 straipsnyje nurodyta, kad baudžiamojo proceso paskirtis yra ginant žmogaus ir piliečio teises bei laisves, visuomenės ir valstybės interesus greitai ir išsamiai atskleisti nusikalstamas veikas ir tinkamai pritaikyti įstatymą, kad nusikalstamą veiką padaręs asmuo būtų teisingai nubaustas ir niekas nekaltas nebūtų nuteistas. Pasirinkta ir nagrinėjama tema yra analizuojama dėmesį sutelkiant į šį straipsnį, nes kaip viso baudžiamojo proceso paskirtis yra ginti žmogaus, šiuo atveju įtariamojo ir kaltinamojo teises. Įtariamasis ir kaltinamasis turi įvairių teisių, todėl norint jas tinkamai užtikrinti turi būti pagrįstas teisėtų procesinių priemonių taikymas. Žmogaus teisės numatytos Lietuvos Respublikos Konstitucijoje (toliau - Konstitucija).	en_US
