dc.description Title. To evaluate patients' anxiety during magnetic resonance imaging. Work aim. Rate radiology technologist role of computed tomography for pulmonary arterial thrombus embolism. Objectives: 1. Theoretically describe the concept of anxiety and the psycho-emotional factors experienced by patients. 2. Determine the most common symptoms of anxiety in patients with magnetic resonance imaging. 3. Detect the relationship between patient anxiety magnetic resonance imaging and a person's health care institution. Research methods. Data analysis. Organization of work - will be collected and analyzed by the LSMU Kaunas Clinics and Affidea Lietuva Panevėžys Division in 2018. February - May. 120 patients with a magnetic resonance imaging study. Data processed using Microsoft Excel in 2016. the program. Topicality. Magnetic resonance imaging study is one of the most recent and most accurate diagnostic tests of this time, which does not contain ionizing radiation. In Lithuania, according to the data of the VASPVT, in 2017 There were 45 magnetic resonance imaging imaging, of which 25 were in public and 20 in private clinics. MR is often confronted with anxiety and fear in indoor enclosures. It has been estimated that around 2 million MRI studies can not be performed annually around the world due to its early termination. Therefore, this work will analyze the psycho-emotional states of patients, identify the most common symptoms of anxiety in relation to the gender and reveal their anxiety depending on the individual health care institution. Results and conclusions. 1. Anxiety, fear, and stress are the emotional state of a person arising from the threat to the well-being, health or life of an individual. These emotional states disturb not only the routine psychological balance, but also cause physiological changes. When patients know exactly what to expect in certain circumstances, the feeling of helplessness and discomfort may decrease. It is very important to reduce the patient's feeling of uncertainty, to inform about the pending reactions and to enable him to partially control his situation. 2. More than one third of the patients experienced increased heart rate. Nearly half of all respondents did not feel calm, only a third was not completely worried about the study and even a quarter of the MRT survey needed support and encouragement 3. Patients who have undergone a private health care survey, who also had more encouragement and support, were more likely to experience a moderate or severe increase in heart rate, but there was a shortage of more accurate information for patients in the public CPR. Although more panicked respondents were in a private clinic, they were twice as likely to have a full control of the situation as those who had a MRI trial at a public institution. en
