dc.description Topicality of the thesis - One of the most widely spread types of services is catering. Restaurants, cafes, bars, canteens are inseparable from the public life, because every person wants to satisfy the basic human needs – hunger and thirst. This theme is also topical because every institution must improve their services and try to find ways how to attract more customers. Problem of the thesis - Considering the fact, that the market of catering services is increasing in Taurage and the customers’ requirements for the food suppliers are becoming stricter the problem of the thesis has been formulated as the question: Do the services of “Priemiesčio užeiga” Café, UAB “Sangvita” satisfy the needs of the customers and what tools can be applied to improve the services? Object of the thesis: Catering services offered at “Priemiesčio užeiga” Café, UAB “Sangvita”. Aim of the thesis: To assess the services of “Priemiesčio užeiga” Café, UAB “Sangvita” and to foresee the tools of improvement. Tasks of the thesis: 1. To analyse the concept, classification and features of services. 2. To describe the features of catering services. 3. To research the services offered at “Priemiesčio užeiga” Café, UAB “Sangvita”. 4. To prepare suggestions how to improve services offered at “Priemiesčio užeiga” Café, UAB “Sangvita”. The analysis of various foreign and Lithuanian literature is disclosed in the theoretical part of the thesis. Moreover, the services’ concept, features and classification are also presented in this part. The methodical part of the thesis discloses the methods of the research, such as questionnaire, which contains 15 questions. The respondents – the customers of “Priemiesčio užeiga” Café, UAB “Sangvita”. Having analysed the questionnaire’s data and having summarised the collected information it has appeared that the quality of catering, the quality of food, the numbers of portions, the exterior of the cafe, and the food delivery services have been evaluated positively. Meantime, the negative assessment has been given to the car parking, the number of portions, the outfit of personnel, the interior. To improve the services of “Priemiesčio užeiga” Café, UAB “Sangvita” it has been suggested: to renovate the car parking site, to minimize the number and prices of portions, to improve the interior design and to purchase the new outfit with the logo of the café for the service personnel. en
dc.description.abstract Viena iš labiausiai paplitusių paslaugų rūšių – maitinimo paslaugos. Restoranai, kavinės, barai, valgyklos – neatsiejama šiuolaikinės visuomenės dalis. Taip yra , nes kiekvienam svarbu patenkinti pagrindinius poreikius – numalšinti alkį bei troškulį. Ši tema yra aktuali ir todėl, kad kiekviena įstaiga turi nuolat tobulėti, atrasti naujų būdų, kaip pritraukti daugiau klientų. en_US
