dc.description	Relevance of the issue. At pre-school age, artistic activities align well with a creative nature of a child and the natural need of self-expression and cognition. In a well-balanced development of a child, the integration of artistic activities into other educational activities can be a beneficial measure that alleviates pursuing for the development objectives. The issue of the study: under-integration of artistic activities in pre-school age. The scope of the study: Development of competences in pre-school children by integrating artistic activities The objective of the study: To reveal the development of competences in pre-school children by integrating artistic activities. The tasks of the study: 1. To define the importance of development of competences in pre-school children. 2. To provide a theoretical explanation of the opportunities for the integration of artistic activities in pre-school children. 3. To evaluate the opportunities for the integration of artistic activities in pre-school children at the educational establishment X. 4. To draft and to implement an educological project. The methods of study: the analysis of scientific literature and documents, written and verbal interviews. Findings: 1. The development of competences in pre-school children is a precondition for successful development (learning) at school and helps to build self-confidence and self-esteem. 2. The integration of artistic activities is an integral part of pre-school development process. The integration of a number of artistic activities enables building of unique thinking and mastering of new work methods, facilitates non-verbal communication, enriches the environment that we all live in. 3. The empiric study showed quite poor diversity of integration of artistic activities; Educators recognise that artistic activities enable children to immerse themselves into researches and the development of all five competences in addition to the formation of fully creative personality. 4. The implemented educational project shows that different artistic activities can be integrated successfully, whereas what is needed now, therefore, is a bit of creativity.	en
dc.description.abstract	Priešmokykliniame amžiuje meninė veikla ypač gerai atitinka kūrybišką vaiko prigimtį, tenkina įgimtą raiškos ir pažinimo poreikį. Siekiant ugdyti vaiką tolygiai visose srityse, meno dalykų integravimas su kitais ugdomaisiais gali būti naudingas, kaip priemonė palengvinanti siekti ugdomųjų tikslų. Tyrimo problema: nepakankamas meninių veiklų integravimas priešmokykliniame amžiuje.Tyrimo objektas: priešmokyklinio amžiaus vaikų kompetencijų ugdymas integruojant menines veiklas.Tyrimo tikslas: atskleisti priešmokyklinio amžiaus vaikų kompetencijų ugdymą integruojant menines veiklas. Tyrimas atskleidė, kad: gana menka meninių veiklų integravimo įvairovė; pedagogai pripažįsta, kad meninė veikla sudaro vaikui sąlygas aktyviai tyrinėti ir ugdyti visas penkias kompetencijas, formuoja visapusiškai kūrybingą asmenybę. Įgyvendinto edukacinis projektas atskleidė, kad galima sėkmingai integruoti įvairias menines veiklas tik reikia šiek tiek kūrybiškumo.	en_US
