dc.description	The pricing of reimbursable medicinal products is the most effective means of ensuring the maximum availability of medicinal products. Most of the preparations contained in the reimbursable medicinal products are generic. By compensating generic medicines, the government seeks to save not only its budget funds, but also patients' incomes. The use of generic medicines in Lithuania is rising every year. Lithuanian residents are increasingly confident in the quality, safety and efficiency of generic products, because "not the package, but the active ingredient that treats". The aim of the study is to reveal residents experience of choosing compensated medicinal products while changing the procedure of purchasing them. Research objectives: 1. Define the properties of ethical and generic medicines that influence the attitudes of doctors and pharmaceutical professionals to the use of these medicines. 2. To describe the measures which are used by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania, which aims to improve the availability and use of compensatory medicinal products. 3. Prepare a survey and disclose the attitudes of patients visiting pharmacy X to choose between generic and original cardiovascular treatments. Analysis of scientific literature was done. Questionnaire survey conducted by 119 people of different age groups in Kaunas city, who visited X public pharmacy in order to purchase compensatory medicines for cardiovascular diseases and during the last six months have changed the original medicinal products into generic medicines. In the course of the study, respondents were divided into several groups according to age and according to which medicine they were taking. The data of the study show the experience of the residents in choosing and purchasing reimbursable medicinal products by changing the procedure for obtaining them. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents in the study were patients aged 45-55. About half of the respondents are not allowed to freely dispose of their money, i.e. their income does not always allow them to choose better quality goods or cultural events. 68% of respondents use generic and 32% use original medicinal products. It is apparent that younger patients are more informed and more aware of generics than older patients. Respondents' opinion on the choice of the product was most influenced by the doctor. The most important reason why patients changed medication - the drug has become uncompensated. 77% of respondents use medications as prescribed by a doctor.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamajame bakalauro darbe buvo aptartas kompensuojamųjų vaistinių preparatų kompensavimas, išanalizuoti moksliniai straipsniai susiję su generiniais vaistiniais preparatais. Pateikti veiksniai, kurie didina generinių vaistinių preparatų vartojimą. Nustatyta pacientų nuomonė apie generinių preparatų kokybę ir priežastys skatinančios rinktis generinius vaistinius preparatus. Išnagrinėjus mokslinę - dalykinę literatūrą bei atlikus duomenų analizę buvo pateiktos išvados. Darbą sudaro įvadas, du skyriai, išvados, literatūros sąrašas, priedai. Darbo apimtis – 46 psl.,42 bibliografiniai šaltiniai.	en_US
