dc.description	Relevance. Acne vulgaris as a chronic inflammatory disease (Lideikaitė et al., 2018), from whitch suffer the most teenagers, but not always after the puberty period acne disappears, that‘s way often affects 25-40 age people (Kirvatienė et al. 2013). „This disease is estimated to affect 9.4% of the global population, making it the eighth most prevalent disease worldwide“ (Tan ir kt., 2014). It is very important to start to solve the problem as soon as the first lesions appears, because even the mild acne can leave the scars and the scars cause negative psychological effects, influence the quality of life, diminish human self-respecting (Dessinioti et al. 2018; Aslam et al. 2014). For the treatment of acne are using topical and systemic drugs, medicinal plants and dermacosmetics and combinations of these drugs. Drugs are chosen according to the severity of the acne. Objective: To reveal the pharmacy technicians knowledge about acne vulgaris and the solution of this problem with medicinal and herbal preparations. Task: 1. Theoretically explain acne vulgaris causes of appear, forms, types of lesions, prevalence. 2. Theoretically approve the use of medicinal products to solve the problem of acne vulgaris. 3. Ascertain pharmacy technicians knowledge about acne vulgaris and the medicinal and herbal preparations used to solve this problem. Methods of research: 1. Analysis of scientific literature, whitch main purpose is to reveal acne vulgaris causes of appear, forms, types of lesions, prevalence and medicinal and herbal preparations use for this disease. 2. Quantitative research - questionnaire. I interviewed students studying in Kaunas College in Pharmacy techniques study program and after graduation of Pharmacy techniques study program working in pharmacies pharmacy technicians. Results and conclusions: The study showed that the vast majority of respondents have knowledge of acne vulgaris and how it manifests itself. The vast majority know that the disease is chronic manifest by various skin rashes and affect not only teenagers but also older people. All respondents have good knowledge about medicines for acne vulgaris. Pharmacy technicians for the patients with mild acne would recommend topical medications, herbal preparations in which are chamomile or calendula, dermacosmetics. The big part of respondents believe that acne vulgaris treatment is more effective with a combination of drugs. Pharmacy techniciants would not recommend systemic drugs for the treatment of mild acne because they have a lot of side effects compared with topical medicines.	en
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamajame bakalauro darbe buvo teoriškai paaiškintos acne vulgaris atsiradimo priežastys, formos, pažeidimų rūšys, paplitimas. Pagrįstas vaistinių preparatų vartojimas acne vulgaris problemos sprendimui. Nustatytos farmakotechnikos studijų programos I, II, III kurso studentų ir farmakotechnikos studijų programą baigusių ir dirbančių vaistinėse farmakotechnikų žinios apie acne vulgaris ligą bei šios problemos sprendimą vaistiniais ir augaliniais preparatais. Išnagrinėjus mokslinę - dalykinę literatūrą bei atlikus duomenų analizę buvo pateiktos išvados. Darbą sudaro įvadas, du skyriai, išvados, rekomendacijos skirtos gyventojams, literatūros sąrašas, priedai. Darbo apimtis – 51psl. 45 bibliografinių šaltinių.	en_US
