dc.description Relevance. Patient satisfaction is one of the most important indicators of quality and outcomes in healthcare. Some authors believe that it is impossible to improve work processes and quality of hospitals without regard to patient comments, requirements, expectations and satisfaction (Behzad Zohrevandi, 2014). With advances in technology and strong competition, hospitals are always striving to improve their services. Nowadays patient satisfaction has become an important result of health care and shows quality, which provides valuable information on the care provided by the Emergency room (Saeed Abbasi 2014). Thus, patient satisfaction is increasingly used as one of the most important tools for evaluating hospital work. Aim of the study. Evaluate patient satisfaction with services provided by Emergency department of hospital X. Objectives: 1. Define the concept of patient satisfaction and the factors that influence it 2. Describe the impact of services provided by healthcare workers on patient satisfaction 3. Determine patient satisfaction with Services provided by the Emergency department of Hospital X Methods and contingent. Research Method - Quantitative Research, Anonymous Questionnaire. The contingent of the subjects consists of adult patients at the Emergency department selected by random sampling. Study sample - 80 respondents. Statistical data analysis was performed using a Microsoft Excel computer program. Results and conclusions: Patient satisfaction is defined as a measure of results; fulfillment of a person's expectations. Satisfaction depends on the length of stay in the department; empathy and care from hospital staff; provided information, hospital environment. Most patients are satisfied with the services they receive at Hospital X and, if necessary, would choose this institution again. Patients trust the work of nurses and doctors and believe they are qualified and the Emergency department provided all the relevant information. en_US
dc.description.abstract Literatūriškai aprašoma pacientų pasitenkinimo samprata, sveikatos priežiūros kokybės samprata, pacientų pasitenkinimą įtakojantys veiksniai, būtinosios medicinos pagalbos paslaugų teikimo tvarka. Tyrimo metu nustatomas pacientų pasitenkinimas X ligoninės priėmimo skyriuje teikiamomis paslaugomis. Atskleidžiamas pacientų pasitenkinimas slaugytojų, gydytojų darbu, informacijos suteikimu, skyriaus aplinka. en_US
