dc.description	The object of this research is the role of a social worker. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of a social worker in working with children from social risk families. Research tasks: 1. To describe the functions and roles of a social worker; 2. To analyze the psychosocial characteristics of children from social risk families. 3. To identify the roles of a social worker in working with children from social risk families. Research methods - analysis of scientific literature, interviews, qualitative content analysis. Research results. The goals of a social worker in working with children from social risk families are the following: comprehensive assistance to the social risk family for positive changes in order to restore its functions, allowing them to independently solve problems and guarantee the safety of children.The functions of a social worker working with children from social risk families are as follows: individual work with family, family mediation with institutions and institutions, solving family problems and ensuring child safety. The roles of social workers were specified: consultant, teacher, mediator, solicitor, lawyer. The teacher is named as the main role of a social worker. The least important roles have not been named, because their significance is revealed depending on the social risk family that is being assisted. The roles of a social worker in professional activities are consistently linked due to the specifics of work, but the results and their impact are only observed after a certain period of time. A social worker who works with social risk children needs to combine sensitive qualities such as empathy and intelligence with solid qualities such as autonomy, solidity, determination and courage. This adjustment is needed to enable a worker to understand and repent a child from a social risk family, and at the same time to be determined and brave enough to provide such a child with all kinds of social assistance. By combining different roles of a social worker, the relationship between a social worker and a child of social risk families is improved, as it establishes contact with the child, promotes confidence in the social worker and helps the child to feel better and change.	en
dc.description.abstract	Šalyje, visuomenėje vykstančios permainos, išgyvenamos įvairaus pobūdžio krizės (ekonominės, socialinės, gamtinės, kultūrinės ir pan.) neabejotinai paveikia ir kiekvieną tos šalies gyventoją, kiekvieną visuomenės narį. Ne išimtis yra ir Lietuva, šiuo metu išgyvenanti ekonominių sunkumų laikotarpį. Nekelia abejonių faktas, kad ekonominiai sunkumai pirmiausiai paliečia socialiai jautriausius visuomenės sluoksnius, socialinė atskirtis dar labiau padidėja. Viena aktyviausių, bet tuo metu ir pažeidžiamiausių visuomenės grupių yra jaunimas ir paaugliai. Būdami aktyvūs, jie itin jautriai reaguoja į įvairius visuomenės sociokultūrinius, ekonominius ir politinius pokyčius. Jauno žmogaus socializacija, vykstanti šeimoje, mokykloje bei aplinkoje, kurioje jis praleidžia nemažai laiko, daro įtaką elgesiui bei vertybinėms orientacijoms. Didėjant turtinei gyventojų diferenciacijai, kai kurie tėvai, gyvendami arti skurdo ribos, sugeba (o kartais ir ne) pasirūpinti tik vaiko fiziologinių poreikių tenkinimu. Apie dvasinį ar intelektualinį tobulėjimą bei psichologinės paramos suteikimą negali būti net kalbos. Jaunas žmogus yra paliekamas „pats sau". Dažnai dėl įvairių priežasčių daugeliui socialinės rizikos šeimų vaikams, reikalinga psichopedagoginė ir socialinė parama bei pagalba. Vaikui iš tokios šeimos būtina efektyvi ir veiksminga socialinė pedagoginė ir psichologinė pagalba, o tam užtikrinti svarbi gerai organizuota socialinio darbo sistema. Todėl šiame darbe analizuojama socialinio darbuotojo pagalba vaikams iš socialinės rizikos šeimų, analizuojami socialinio darbuotojo vaidmenys ir veiklos o taip pat tobulinimo galimybės.	en_US
