dc.description	The aim of the study: Disclosure of radiographers work and comunication with patients in radiotherapy. The Objectives of the study: 1. Describe the specifics of radiographers’ work in radiotherapy. 2. Define the ethics and ethical communication with patients in the radiotherapy. 3. Disclose the qualities of the radiographer, that would make the patient feel trust towards them. 4. Set the importance of radiographers’ competence and qualifications during communication with the patients. The Relevance: Since the tendency of deaths caused by cancer vary very little (cause of death in Lithuania – cancer two years in the row is in second place according to Higienos instituto Sveikatos informacijos centro leidinys (2018)), because of this the quality of cancer treatment is a very important factor for these tendencies to change. A certain role in all of this takes radiographers, that is why it is important to have the knowledge about the quality of their work. One of the greater evaluators is the patient, that sees everything from the inside. The Setting and research methodology: The study period 2018 January 29th - 2018 april 30th. Anonymous questionnairs were used for the study to evaluate radiographers quality of work. The questionnair includes questions related to radiographers communication, presenting information to patients, demographical range. 75 LSMU Kauno klinikos Radiotherapy oncology patients were questioned. The Study Outcomes: The patients in the Radiotherapy ward opinion radiographers do their job great. The respondents unanimously (100%) fells the trust towards radiographers. 98,67% have marked the answer „yes“ to the question if they are happy about the radiographers communication with them. The Conclusions: Radiographers in the radiotherapy ward have to work with high radiation accumulating machines, with wich are treated oncology patients. Because these pateints on the period while tey are treated get more sensitive than usual, it is better to be more careful, not cross the ethics norms and do the duties of radiographer with least mistakes and issues.	en
dc.description.abstract	Tikslas: Atskleisti radiologijos technologo darbo ir bendravimo kokybę spindulinės terapijos metu su pacientais. Uždaviniai: 1. Aprašyti radiologijos technologo darbo specifiką spindulinėje terapijoje. 2. Apibrėžti bendravimo su pacientais etiketo ir etikos normas spindulinėje terapijoje. 3. Atskleisti radiologijos technologo savybės, kurios keltų pacientams pasitikėjimą. 4. Nustatyti radiologijos technologų kompetencijas ir kvalifikacijos svarbą bendraujant su pacientais. Aktualumas: Kadangi mirtingumo nuo vėžio tendencijos keičiasi mažai (mirties priežastis Lietuvoje - vėžys du metus iš eilės užima antrąją vietą pagal higienos instituto sveikatos informacijos centro leidinį (2018)), todėl jo gydymo kokybė – svarbus faktorius tokioms tendencijoms keistis. Gana nemenką rolę visame šiame procese užima radiologijos technologai, todėl labai svarbu žinoti jų atliekamo darbo kokybę. Vieni iš puikių to darbo vertintojų - patys pacientai, kurie viską mato iš labai arti ir gali suteikti atliekamų radiologijos technologų veiksmų suvestinę. Darbo medžiaga ir metodika: Tyrimo laikotarpis 2018 sausio 29 - 2018 balandžio 30d. Tyrime naudota anoniminė anketa radiologijos technologų darbo kokybei įvertinti. Klausimai apima radiologijos technologų bendravimą, informacijos pateikimą pacientams, demografinius parametrus. Apklausti 75 LSMU Kauno klinikų spindulinės terapijos skyriuje gydomi onkologiniai pacientai. Rezultatai: Spindulinės terapijos skyriuje gydomų onkologinių pacientų nuomone radiologijos technologai savo darbą atlieka labai gerai. Apklaustieji respondentai vienbalsiai (100%) jaučia pasitikėjimą jais. Net 98,67% respondentai pažymėjo atsakymą „taip“ paklausus ar yra patenkinti radiologijos technologo bendravimu. Išvados: Spindulinės terapijos skyriuje radiologijos technologai dirba su aukštą jonizuojančią spinduliuotę skleidžiančiais aparatais, kurių pagalba yra gydomi onkologiniai pacientai. Kadangi šios grupės pacientai gydymo laikotarpiu tampa jautresniais nei įprasta, su jais reikia elgtis atidžiau, nepažeidžiant etikos ir etiketo normų bei atlikti savo pareigas kaip įmanoma geriau su kuo mažiau iškylančių nesklandumų	en_US
