dc.description	The topic of this dissertation - valuation of the patients satisfaction of the quality of the services provided during their same day discharge interventional cardiology procedures. The aim of this paper is to analyse patients satisfaction of the quality of the services provided and the tasks to achieve it are: describe the services which can be provided by same day discharge interventional cardiology, evaluate the levels of satisfaction of the patients being treated and finally compare the expectation of the patients before and after the procedures. The object of the research-patients satisfaction of the services provided during their same day discharge interventional cardiology procedures. Relevance. Same day discharge interventional cardiology - is a great option in order to lower the costs of the coronary intervention procedures, also to maintain the clinical safety of the patients and increase their level of satisfaction. The satisfaction of the patients is one of the best option to determine the quality of the healthcare services and most healthcare organisations around the world use it. Data gathered while evaluating the level of patients satisfaction can help organisations determine which steps or components of their services should be improved or changed. Methodology. To achieve the aim and the objectives of this dissertation a literature review was carried out in terms of this topic, quantitative empirical research was designed and fulfilled using anonymous paper questionnaires. All of the data gathered and analysed using Microsoft Excel 7 software. Research was conducted in February 2018 in Kaunas Clinics Same Day Discharge (SDD) Interventional Cardiology Department. LSMU Bioethics Centre concluded that this research will not breach any rights of the patients and approved it.In the beginning of the research patients were handed out pilot questionnaires which were clear and comprehensible, therefore these have not been changed during any stage of the research. In February 2018 this SDD Department treated 140 patients and 110 of them agreed to participate in the research. Findings. SDD interventional cardiology allows the patient to travel home the same day and rest in comfortable environment after uncomplicated interventional procedure. Empirical research showed that the patients were mostly satisfied with the staff, their work and sensibility. More than 80 percent of both female and male patients were satisfied with the quality of the services provided, however, most discussed negative topic was the clarity of the signboards and schemes used to help people orientate in the department. After the comparison of the expectations of the patients, data showed that women are more likely to stress before the procedure than men, however, the stress level showed to be lower during the procedure than before it.	en
dc.description.abstract	Bakalauro baigiamojo darbo tema - intervencinės kardiologijos dienos stacionaro pacientų pasitenkinimo teikiamų paslaugų kokybe vertinimas. Darbo tikslas – įvertinti pacientų pasitenkinimą teikiamų paslaugų kokybe. Šiam tikslui pasiekti iškelti uždaviniai: aprašyti teikiamas paslaugas intervencinės kardiologijos dienos stacionare, įvertinti pacientų pasitenkinimą gaunamomis paslaugomis, bei palyginti intervencinės kardiologijos dienos stacionaro pacientų lūkesčius prieš ir po procedūros.
