As well as the feelings and needs of the child and of his future parents. During the adoption process, many specialists are working in order to successfully build a new family, but the biggest contribution in this process is the one of social workers. Therefore, the goal of this work is to identify the problems that are experienced by social workers while preparing future parents for adoption. Practical benefits of the work: the results of the work can be used to improve the social workers‘ work in preparing future adoptive parents. Aim of the project: to figure out the problems experienced by social workers in preparing future adoptive parents. The research‘s question: what problems do social workers face while preparing future adoptive parents? Tasks of the project: 1. To review the legal documents regulating the adoption of children. 2. To describe the activities of social workers in the preparation of future adoptive parents. 3. To define the problems encountered by social workers in professional activities. 4. To identify the problems encountered by social workers in preparing future adoptive parents. Methods of empirical research: quantitative-descriptive research. Non-probability, targeted practical selection. 26 social workers, preparing future adaptive parents were chosen. Results and conclusions of research: The research‘s answers showed that the respondents face problems mostly in two stages in the process of preparing future adoptive parents: offering future adoptive parents a specialist‘s help and the lack of time to write the report concerning the suitability of future adoptive parents. In the process of searching for adoptive parents the most common problem is the lack of information about adoption and the myths that adoption is a hard and long process. While organizing and conducting training, respondents face problems due to the lack of motivation of participants since future adoptive parents participate only because it is obligatory. en
