The right to the private life is one of the fundamental rights of the person, describing the individuality of each citizen, also protects the secrecy of life and protects his personality. This right is assigned to the personal rights. The inviolability of a person's private life is protected by the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania. The importance of the private life at the international level is enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, also the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. The purpose of the work. To analyse the legal aspects of the person's right to privacy and implementation. Work problem. As a person's right to the private life is one of the fundamental rights of the individual. In this situation the question arises as to whether the law adequately regulates and effectively protects the inviolability of the private life of individuals and how should this person's right can be limited proportionally? Working object. Ensuring personal privacy. Work structure. The work consists of three main parts. The first part of the final work deals with the concept of a person's rights to private life and ways of ensuring it. The second part of the work deals with the principles of legal regulation of a person's rights to private life. The third part deals with the problems of the person's right to privacy and implementation of the private life. Main conclusions. The variety of concepts of the private life is quite broad, but for all the concepts characterized the fact, that private life is very important for every citizen and the person's private life should be as less intrusive. The right to privacy is regulated quite thoroughly in various legal acts, starting with the Constitution, codified by the laws of individual branches and ending with the specific laws regulating individual aspects of privacy protection. en
