According to statistics provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Lithuania and data from the World Health Organization (WHO), our country's pupils are the most inactive compared to pupils of other EU countries. They seem to be looking worse considering to their body shapes, and clothing sewing companies every time have to increasingly broaden the sizes of uniforms, and at the same time it is difficult to set long-term standard sizes. Therefore, it is important to find out if ongoing sports clubs and physical activity lessons in Lithuania, are interlinked with the increasing body dimensions of pupils. The main problem. Rapidly increasing pupils body size dimensions. The aim - to determine whether the physical activity of pupils, could be related to increasing body size dimensions. The object. Pupils body dimensions and physical activity. The objectives: 1. To analyze the literature; 2. To carry out the study; 3. To submit suggestions. Methods of work. Literary analysis, written survey, descriptive statistics. The structure: The theoretical part deals with the theoretical aspects of physical activity and sports clubs, also the situation of children physical activity in Lithuania. The practical part presents and discusses the results of the research, the proposal of the physical activity increase plan, and summarizes the conclusions. The results. According into account literary sources and certain studies carried out, it is obvious that in lithuania children's physical activity and attendance of sports clubs are insufficient, therefore, it can be assumed that this also have influence to the increasing size of pupil body dimensions. Suggestions: increase physical activity through such measures like: pupil physical activity valuation tests, seminars about healthy lifestyles, the integration of active activities in schools during lessons and long breaks, family sports tournaments, sports club innovations. Scope of the work: the work consists of 58 pages, 4 tables, 22 pictures, 33 literature and information sources, 12 annexes. en
dc.description.abstract Baigiamojo darbo teorinėje dalyje nagrinėjami teoriniai aspektai apie fizinį aktyvumą ir sporto būrelius, bei vaikų fizinio aktyvumo situacija Lietuvoje. Taip pat aiškintasi ar vykstantys sporto būreliai ir fizinio aktyvumo pamokos glaudžiai siejasi tarpusavyje su didėjančiais mokinių kūno matmenimis. Praktinėje dalyje pateikiami ir aptariami atlikto tyrimo rezultatai, fizinio aktyvumo didinimo projektas ir apibendrinamos išvados. Baigiamojo darbo apimtis 58 puslapiai. Darbą sudaro: 4 lentelės, 22 paveikslai, 33 literatūros ir informacijos šaltiniai. en_US
