dc.description	Designers and the creators of fashion are paying more and more attention when it comes to models with distinct features, untypical models are taking over the world of fashion. My final project reflects the problem of over-consumption and the lack of individuality. Human body gets affected by social influence and becomes a way of individual’s self-expression. The goal of the project is to analyze defected body images, express the elements of one’s individuality. The main subject of the project is the imperfect aesthetic in defected body image. A hypothesis of imperfections being highlights of one’s individuality (which everyone is looking for by changing their appearance) is being raised. I have raised the tasks of reviewing the definition of beauty throughout decades; Changes in the typical high fashion model body images throughout the hystory and their influence in the formation of beauty; Analysation of social aspects when it comes to human body; Survey, which would analyse the main dominant body and face features described as unique and self-expressing by the respondets. The creative part of the project had the goal of showing the defected body image and it‘s communication in fashion. I have chosen three elderly women as subjects for this part of the project and did my best to figure out their definitions of body image and imperfections of it as well as the concerns they might cause. Ater analyzing the results of the survey, I tried to show off the natural beauty of human body and hyperbolize the imperfections of it at the same time. Photographies concealed and corrected the imperfections whilst making the appearances of women somewhat closer to the cannon of antiquity.	en
