dc.description	Professional Bachelor Thesis “The Practical Usefulness of Social Work Professionals in Stationary Rehabilitation Department of Healthcare Institution“ by Simona Tverkute, a student of Social Work study programme in Faculty of Medicine in Kauno kolegija/University of Applied Sciences (Supervisor, lecturer Virginija Kondratavičienė). SUMMARY The relevance of the topic. This Professional Bachelor Thesis researches practical usefulness of social work professionals in a stationary rehabilitation department of a healthcare institution. Social work professionals that carry out social work at healthcare institutions are specialists that are responsible for providing special social services and solving problems of clients‘ irregular daily and social life. Practice and usefulness of services provided by social work professionals in a stationary rehabilitation department is a topic that has not been addressed fully so far. Thus, the research aims at providing information whether practice of social work professionals is useful for respondents receiving services in a stationary rehabilitation department of a healthcare institution. The aim of the thesis. The aim of this Professional Bachelor Thesis is to evaluate usefulness of social work professionals in a stationary rehabilitation department of a healthcare institution. The objectives of the research: 1. To display a characteristic of different healthcare institutions. 2. To analyse practice of social work professionals in a stationary rehabilitation department of a healthcare institution. 3. To demonstrate usefulness of social work professionals in a stationary rehabilitation department of a healthcare institution. The object of the work. The subject of this thesis is usefulness of social work professionals in a stationary rehabilitation department of a healthcare institution. Research question. The question to be addressed is how useful practice of social work professionals in a stationary rehabilitation department of a healthcare institution is. Methods of the research. A quantitative analysis based on a practical and objective selection of 30 patients is the method of the research. Results of the research. The conclusions derived from the research displayed that the majority of respondents claim that practice of social work professionals in a stationary rehabilitation department of a healthcare institution is useful. Respondents point out that information, advisory, mediatory and representation services are the most efficient. Organization of special transportation as a service when a social work professional arranges a special transport service for a patient to be taken to medical nursing hospital or care homes are pointed out as the least efficient. It is important to point out that all respondents believe that a social work professional in a stationary rehabilitation department is needed. Thus, the assumptions can be made that services of such professionals are useful and efficient.	en
dc.description.abstract	Baigiamąjį darbą sudaro santrauka, lentelių ir paveikslų sąrašas, sąvokos ir santrumpos, įvadas, trys skyriai ir septyni poskyriai, kuriuose nagrinėjami baigiamojo darbo uždaviniai. Pirmojoje dalyje aprašoma asmens sveikatos priežiūros įstaigų charakteristika. Antrojoje dalyje gilinamasi į socialinių darbuotojų veiklą asmens sveikatos priežiūros įstaigos reabilitacijos skyriuje, veiklos reglamentavimą, darbą reabilitacijos specialistų komandoje bei socialinių paslaugų teikimą reabilitacijos skyriuje. Trečiojoje dalyje analizuojami ir apibendrinami kiekybinio tyrimo gauti rezultatai.	en_US
